Anna Maria's Cafe
Before we started Ann Maria's cafe in may of 2019, I was the manager of Good neighbour Coffeehouse since May of 2017 and for the 11 years prior to that I was the receptionist as the Lacombe Veterinary Centre. My skills have grown as manager, I can schedule, plan and execute daily activities. I created the schedule format as well as the inventory control at Good Neighbour Coffeehouse. My customer service is excellent, remembering individuals’ names and getting to know them personally is my talent. I have a passion for cooking and can make almost anything and sometimes I even use a recipe. I have lived in Lacombe since 2000 and have volunteered in such activities as Lacombe Days, Light up the night, Santa Clause parade, food bank. Santa’s Anonymous, tools for School and the Christmas eve event.
I was raised on an acreage just outside of Lacombe. Before we started Anna Marias' cafe I had been working as a shift manager at Good Neighbour Coffeehouse House since April of 2018, right after I graduated from Red Deer College with my Business Administration General Management Diploma. While working at Good Neighbour
Coffeehouse I supervised, input inventory data, updating social media and I helped special events like Karaoke night, Alpha, and monthly promotional specials. I have 7 years of customer service experience. I have learned that personal interaction with customers is valuable because it leads to building relationships and a strong customer base.
